Ceol Aneas Irish Music Festival

New Zealand’s premiere Irish music event, Ceol Aneas (ke-ol an-ass) is one of Australasia’s major Irish music gatherings, attracting, musicians and traditional Irish music lovers from around New Zealand and overseas.
Similar to the traditional Irish music summer schools in Ireland, the Ceol Aneas festival programme features a ceili dance on Saturday night, a highlight concert Sunday night featuring all the tutors.
There are also numerous traditional Irish music ‘sessions’. There is no charge to enter venues and sessions run on into the wee, small hours.
